Other minds

It is almost axiomatic that each one's mind acts in a way peculiar to itself.

There is a tendency that grows stronger after our early years for the mind to get into a rut.

Its own rut or mode of looking at things and ideas.

This is of great importance.

For the man who has freed his mind so that it is capable of easily entering into the methods of other minds is more likely to see truth quicker than he who is fixed in his own ways.

Crying

We should all cry................sometimes.

Women often do.

Men not so much.

Pity because crying allows the dissipation of chemicals that if not released can cause further problems.

Maybe this is why men are more aggressive or often need aggressive outlets for their emotions.

So men learn to cry!

On another level crying can clear the way to learning more about our emotions.

How to access our hearts.

How to feel through our hearts.

Next time you cry really let go and see how far into yourself you can go.
Let yourself go into your deepness.

Do not hurry.

If you do really let go then you can experience a deep peace.

A feeling of being in touch with your deeper self.
A cleansing of accumulated rubbish.

It can also be a starting point for further enquiry into self.

Fear in thoughts

Fear in thoughts

Invariably our fear is pushed along, exacerbated by attaching to a thought.

We let our thoughts have power by allowing them to frighten us.

Then we act on that thought and create more fear, more stress.

And so a little thought turns into a mega problem.

It can literally ruin our lives.

Look at this in a different way take the thought as a warning, a signal that something is wrong with your understanding of reality.

Challenge and check every thought that gets a grip on you.

Check that your view of reality is truely objective.

Do not let your thoughts control you.

Become the master of your thoughts.

10,000 women

Signed up for the Formula Woman motoracing championship in Britain in 2004.
Yes 10,000 young women signed up to try for sixteen places on the grid..
Since that time more women have become involved in motoracing and the series is going from strength to strength.
Time is now for women to start breaking the old male ideas about women in motoracing.
Susie Stoddart is one such and is already proving every bit as capable as the young men.
Question can she and others attract the needed sponsorship without which neither men nor women
can advance in motoracing?
We hope so it is time to break some moulds.

Wow not Oh dear!

So often when something unexpected and nice occurs people immediately look for the problem or catch in it.

Instead of oh how nice!

Such is our programming today.

Make it your action to look for the good in things not the bad.

See the humour not the possible put down.

Notice the beauty not the hidden blemish.

Lighten up and have fun.

So conditioned are we that everything seems to reek of danger or doom.

Make it wow not oh dear!

Shopping mall

They want me

They do not judge me

Nor do they throw me out.

Shopping Malls are my refuge.

They are clean, safe.

Maybe I will find something nice there.

I can indulge my illusions there.

For many today this is indeed their truth.

Or are shopping malls fulfilling some other purpose?

Offering unquestioning refuge?

Distracting.

From the edge to the center of many lives.

Where is your life center?

Heels

Why so?

Form without end.

Standing on heels is different.

They offer an interesting psychology.

Unlike anything else.

Thats why women love heels.

Is it?

Everyman

Is the framer of his own destiny.

Every other theory which shifts responsibilty or paralyses effort is false.

We can be only that which we have willed to be.

No power above or below will thwart or divert us.

Our destiny is in our own hands.

What we are we have made ourselves.

What we shall be is ours to make.

Tell them what you think

If you constantly tell others what you think.

You are gaining nothing.

For your experience and views are your own.

Well known to you.

The repeated expression of them only tends to imprint them more firmly on your mind.

You do not receive any new ideas that others might have.

Being too busy expounding your own ideas.

Try following the 50 - 50 rule.

Listen 50%

Talk 50%

Preferably listen 50% first!

Tendencies

All humans have tendencies.
Some have a tendency towards violence.
Some towards control.
Others towards cheating and lying.
Towards avoidance of confrontation.
And so it goes on the list being as long as there are words.
Do you know your tendencies?
Really?
Many do not as these tendencies are at the center of our being.
To know them is to expose our fears to ourselves.
This we do not like to do.
Ask your friends what they think your tendencies are.
Note their tendencies.
To know our tendencies allows us to better understand our driving forces.
Have a look at your tendencies.
