Gurus and Masters

Many people in the world today like to call themselves Gurus and Masters.

Did they but know.

These Gurus and Masters are often themselves ignorant of the danger they incur - one and all of these "Teachers" are subject to the same inviolable law.

From the moment they begin to really teach, from the instant they confer any power - whether psychic, mental or physical - on their pupils, they take upon themselves all the sins of that pupil, in connection with the Occult Sciences, whether of omission or commission, until the moment when initiation makes the pupil a Master and responsible in his turn.

True teachers are very reticent to take on students or chelas, in fact all chela are required to serve a seven years probation to prove their fitness, and to develop the qualities necessary to the security of both Master and pupil.

True Masters exist today, however few if any are known to the modern world.

True Masters choose to remain anonymous as their work requires little or no contact with the modern world.

Check out your Guru before becoming a student or chela.

Be wary of people calling themselves Gurus or Masters!
