Time has taken my past

Just so

Time is different for most of us

We experience it differently

Use yours wisely

It goes so fast today whatever our occupation

Don't waste it in sadness

Can you look to the future with pleasant anticipation?

Or is this clouded by doubts

Worries about what might be?

Then live now in this moment

In truth we have nothing else

Thought for the day

I am my past, present and future

Time has taken nothing from me

I am infinite

I am my spirit

My bodies and lives just come and go

.......and you thought they were bad for you

‘In many instances diseases may be a heaven-sent blessing:

they cure egoism,

they teach patience,

and bring in their train the realization of the need for living rightly.

If we with our ungoverned emotions had bodies which could not be diseased,

they might well be weakened and killed by excesses.

Diseases actually are warnings to reform our thoughts and to live in accordance with nature’s laws.

Disease

‘To say that selfishness is the cause of all disease is too general a statement.

To be more specific, it is the form of selfishness called passion, whether conscious or unconscious,

which is the fruitful cause of disease –

unconquered violent passion, such as hatred, anger, lust, etc.

Any such passion, mental or physical, shakes the lower constitution of man; it escapes from the control of the guiding hand of the higher part of his being, changing the direction of flow of the pranic life-currents, condensing them here, rarefying them there.

It thus interferes with the normal, easy workings of nature, which in this connection means health.

In fact, selfishness is at the root not merely of most disease, but of most evil-doing, and both are originally caused not by unconquerable but by unconquered passions.

Just laughing

Is a great feeling

How often do things make you laugh?

Got an email today made me laugh......................out loud

What makes you laugh out loud?

Laughed recently at something funny in a London tube

People do not laugh in London tubes

In fact they do not talk, smile or take eye contact

They just sit locked in private thoughts

Locked in

So many of us locked in

Being locked in is not good for our health

So laugh when soemthing is funny

Nobody laughed on the tube

One did smile though

I hope her day went better too

Make someone's day

Laugh

It can be infectuous

Mmmmm - 46

‘The finest type of meditation is a turning of the soul toward the light within in aspiration to be of greater service, without exaggerated longing for some special revelation.

Any method of meditation that helps us to lessen our self-centeredness is beneficial; if it increases egocentricity, it is harmful. ...

‘The most fruitful meditation, therefore, is an absorption of thought and aspiration in the noblest ideal we can envision.

We will not need to worry about specific postures, techniques, or gurus; there will be a natural inflow of light into the nature, for our inner master, our real guru, is our Self.’

More co-habiting

Co-habiting couples have the same number of hands as married couples,

so they ought to make equally good parents.

Many do, but on average the children of co-habiting couples do worse by nearly every measure.

One reason is that such relationships are less stable than marriages.

In America, they last about two years on average.

About half end in marriage.

But those who live together before marriage are more likely to divorce.

Economist

Co-habiting

A survey of teenagers by the University of Michigan found that 64% of boys and 57% of girls agreed that “it is usually a good idea for a couple to live together before getting married in order to find out whether they really get along.

” Research suggests otherwise.

Two-thirds of American children born to cohabiting parents who later marry will see their parents split up by the time they are ten.

Those born within wedlock face only half that risk.

The likeliest explanation is inertia, says Scott Stanley of the Centre for Marital and Family Studies at the University of Denver, Colorado.

Couples start living together because it is more fun (and cheaper) than living apart.

One partner may see this as a prelude to marriage.

The other—usually the man—may see it as something more temporary.

Since no explicit commitment is made, it is easier to drift into living together than it is to drift into a marriage.

But once a couple is living together, it is harder to split up than if they were merely dating.

So “many of these men end up married to women they would not have married if they hadn't been living together,” says Mr Stanley, co-author of a paper called “Sliding versus deciding”.

Mixing

Slowly but surely everything is getting mixed up

What do we mean?

Notice music has always had distinct genres such as classical, jazz, rock and so on

Amongst these groups are areas where they combine elements of the others

Language the same, most languages today contain elements and phrases taken from others

Values once the preserve of one group spread into another

Fashion is more and more global

As is car design or modern furniture

The point?

When all of us see, hear and use the same things

Minds absorbing the same music, fashions, tastes, images

We move into dangerous waters

Once diversity was understood to be valuable

Today we will tell you what to eat, think, wear and so on

What are you?

A cypher?

Take back your own rights

Think, eat and choose for your own needs

Take back your life

Beware the mixing of everything into one large blob of conformity

Cutty Sark

Was set on fire on the night of 21.05.07

Probably by arsonists

Sick, sick people

No communication possible with people like this

So many sick people

From terrorists to arsonists

No communication possbile

What to do?

If we find them then make the punishment fit the crime

Let them work on restoration for the next ten years
.
Let them fight fires
.
Let them tend the wounded
.
First we have to catch them so more cameras and more controls

Guess who is winning?

Ch'i

‘The Chinese for centuries have taught that sound physical and psychic health depends upon the balance of yin and yang.

If one, however unknowingly, upsets the natural rhythmic flow of the ch’i – their term for prana – through the twelve primary meridians or energy channels of the body, imbalance of the yin/yang may result.

In other words, when there is interference with the natural lines of force, a misalignment of pranic balance may occur, often with serious consequences.

Rather than concentrate on the psychic and physical aspects of the constitution, far better to focus attention on the spiritual and higher mental and moral faculties.

When inner balance is achieved and normal health measures are observed, the physical will in time follow suit (unless, as may happen, stronger karmic impediments must be worked through).

Smiling

Is still the best way to feel better

It is difficult to grumble when you are smiling

Difficult to hold anger

So why don't we smile more?

Have you forgotten?

Lost the habit

Or is it fear

Of someone taking advantage

Misunderstanding

Attracting attention

Whatever you told yourself smiling is still so important

It is a great protection

It breaks tension

It creates warmth

It puts people at ease

So many advantages

Time to smile more

Smile every thirty five minutes

Why 35?

Because it will stay in your memory better than 30

Smile more today it feels good and literally improves your energy reserves.

Nicola Tesla

Is not a name that many know today

Possibly after the 2007 Cannes Film Festival more will

Interesting that a man who made our lives possible in the way we experience them today should be all but forgotten

Edison was a clever man while Tesla was a genius many levels above him.

Edison's name is still around us while Tesla's is not

Marconi is still thought of as the inventor of the wireless while Tesla was far ahead in this area

And in ideas of computing, radar, robotics and other major areas too.

Got some time?

Then enjoy looking at his story and life contributions to us

Just type in Nicolas Tesla to Google search and have a look

Or go to U Tube and type in his name.

Enjoy and learn

Feeding frenzy

Walked into a shop on the Champs Elysee

Sells perfumes, cosmetics and various beauty products

Big shop, well laid out , large range of products

Full of people

Funny energy

Like they had a bus waiting around the corner parked on a double yellow line

As if the shop would close in five minutes

Like the products were the last one's on the planet

Almost a feeding frenzy

Buying like there was no tomorrow

Madness, pushing shoving

Utter greedy mindless behaviour

Came out went into other shops nearby

Calm pleasant atmospheres

What had been going on in that shop?

Loud driving music?

Yes

Similar narcissistic consumers

Yes

Expensive brands

Yes

And over all a total preoccupation with self

Me, only I exist

I want

out of my way

Imagine one selfish customer sees another looking at some product

pushes to see as well

she might get the last one

What are you looking at?

What have you found?

Let me push in front of you in case you have found something I haven't seen before

And all that to buy things that are also available in other shops nearby!

Signs of the times

Colours

Make our world

Both natural colours and those copied by man

Colours give life to our cities

Homes

Clothes

Bodies

Books, journals, papers

Cars, trucks, buses, bikes

Shopping centres, shops,

Everything, everywhere in fact

Can you imagine a black and white world?

No?

Then what colours do you contribute?

What is your colour?

After all colour is just a frequency in nature

What is yours?

What colour do you contribute?

Faster and faster

Have you noticed a new report saying that life is getting faster

While being screamingly obvious it is nice to know that this is now official

The report applies mostly to urban dwellers with Singapore topping the list and Madrid and Copenhagen being fastest in Europe

What does this mean?

Simply put you are all digits who

run until you drop

Work until you drop

Consume until you drop

After that fade away quietly please

Sound nice?

Not really because it brings your running, stressful, disappearing life into cruel focus
.
And what to do?
.
Change your perception of your reality
.
Change your life
.
Make choices to experience it in a different rhythm
.
Change your rhythm
.
Find the humour in your life
.
Make time for what is most important to you
.
Take your life back
.
Do it.

Old saying

May the "deep sea" deal gently with you and your house

Not a saying that most of us have come across or are familiar with

It means what it says, the deep sea being not an ocean in our sense but the ocean of our solar system

And house means family or line

We might hear expressions from time to time

How often do we think that they might be wise?

Or have some significance for us?

Our lives even

Usually we let them go
.
We pay little attention
.
Next time listen
.
Think
.
See what comes to mind
.
Often some helpful thought can arise if you pay attention

Try it

One off

Events can change your life

Change it's course forever

Most of us on reflection will agree that the pivotal moments in our lives are unplanned

We do not plan the chance meeting

The unexpected encounter

The remark that sticks

The insight that we suddenly experience

These moments might not be accidental

In fact there are no accidents

None ever

It might appear that way

At our level of consciousness we find it hard to believe that nature can arrange what she wants when she wants

So take this onboard and next time something truly remarkable happens

Give it more respect

Understand these experiences are always on several levels

Meaning that the more you think about it

The more you will see levels of understanding

Levels of lesson

Levels of teaching

Be aware

We all of us have several major such experiences in our lives

Do not waste yours

They are there to guide and teach us

Take advantage of yours

What am I expected to do?

I did not ask for this situation

I did not create it

What am I expected to do?

All of us find ourselves in these from time to time

Situations which are not of our making

Situations which look bad

No obvious solution

Deep breath

Talk it out

Explore the possible

Help chose the solution or approach most acceptable

Make you contribution

Be sensitive

And once out of it

Reflect

Where did that come from?

How did that arise?

Be smart change your life

Arrange things so that this can not happen in the same way again

Notice what you can learn from such a scenario

How many aspects can teach us unexpected details

Never say never

Something else will come along to test you so learn from it please

Life is testing

Life is change

Life is learning

Long term memory

There are some people who carry grudges

Remember every slight

Wait for the day they can hurt back

Yes this is a choice

However holding bitter memories is not clever

Using all that life energy just waiting for the chance to have revenge

Often the alledged incident was not as you remember it

So do not hold grudges

Do not look for revenge

Nature will take care of that

Nature is far more accurate

Leave revenge to nature

Fill your life with love not hate.

So few moments

With each other

So many hours with others

How come we still get on each others nerves?

Upset each other

Irritate

Maybe we do not put the effort in any longer

Just decide to learn each other again

Few of us stay still

Our life experiences with those others change us

Not talking about affairs just the communications with others

Make sure where your partner has gone

We all experience things

So take the trouble to chack where your partner is and what might have changed

The Cabala is just...........

The infinite condensed in the hand of an infant.

Ten ciphers

22 alphabetical letters

One triangle

A square and a circle

Such are the elements of the Cabala

From whose mysterious bosom sprang all the religions of the past and present

Which endowed all the Free Masonic associations with their symbols and secrets

Which alone can reconcile human reason with God and Faith

Power with Freedom

Science with Mystery

And which alone has the keys to the past present and future

Violence

Yes it is all around us

The kind that gets in the news tends to be the physical kind

Somebody using a gun or knife

There is another more insidious kind

More common

Less visible

Violence in the hearts of people

People walking around filled with anger

Seeing enemies everywhere, in everyone

Looking for trouble

Finding reason to argue over anything

Provoking confrontations

Initiating arguments

Yes there are many such people

Funny thing is they can always rationalise that they are right

They are always aggrieved

Always hard done by.

Not possible to change their views

What to do?

Keep away from such people

When this amount of anger is present

There is normally no negotiation or compromise

Just keep away from them

They create their own karma

This is not your business

Let nature show them the wall

So hard

to live in the moment

Yes it is

Not easy at all

Our little minds want to occupy us all day long

Fight this

Do not let your mind do as it pleases

Why not?

Because inevitably it will lead you to worry

To thoughts of what if this, what if that

If you stay in this moment now life is so much nicer

Just dealing with this moment now

Start to control your mind

It is not easy

In fact it is the hardest thing a person can do

Yes really

So keep trying, be consistent be patient

Women are more circumspect

Women do not like to be seen to be looking

Shiny days

They come along once in a while

Not just the sun shining, that feeling inside.

That feeling where everything is just beautiful, just right.

Can you hold that feeling?

Can you produce it at will?
.
Bet you can't.

So?

Try this, consider this is your last day.

Live it full out flat out.
.
Not spending money or silly stuff.

Just your last day on earth.

Is that sad?
.
Why is it sad?
.
Maybe what comes next is more exciting

Do you know what comes next?
.
No?
.
Then enjoy a shiny day

Create one from deep inside
.
A wonder at the beauty of our world
.
No fear or thoughts of the future just a shiny day

Try it.
.
It is all in our perceptions
.
Lift yours to a shiny day

The last word

Can be the beginning or ending

Which is up to you

Do you reflect before deciding?

Or do you push to break things

Drive the final nail into the coffin

The final kick

And then what?

Stories of how you were right

Does anyone want to listen?

Usually not

Relations are between two people

Others might listen once in a while

And then you must live in your own skin

Get on with your own life

So often you must be right to justify your actions

So many people must be right

What does this mean?

Simply stated an illusion of reality

A perception of reality which is not accurate

Next time you have the last word

Give yourself a day and go back and look at it by saying

"I was wrong"

What do you find?

Interesting, play it through, "I was wrong" and mean it

Computer aided story telling

Just like the lies of spin in politics and the media

Computers can confer legitimacy to nonsense claims

For those who are unwary

Be careful that you do not believe something just because it’s on a computer

Computers are a tasty medium for con artists to catch the unwary

Be aware of computer aided story telling

To the Church

Any church that says that the Devil exists

The world replies with a terrifying logic

Then God does not exist
.
and it is vain to seek escape from this argument
.
to invent the supremacy of a God

who would permit a Devil

to bring about the damnation of men

Such a permission would be a monstrosity

And would amount to complicity

and the God that could be an accomplice of the devil
.
Cannot be God
