Mmmmm - 31

Like Orpheus, Pythagoras, Buddha, Confucius ,Appolonius of Tyana, Socrates, and Jesus himself Ammonius Saccas, nor any other teacher or initiate has ever committed anything to writing for public use.

Instead he communicated his most important doctrines to persons duly instructed and disciplined.

Imposing upon them obligations of secrecy, as was done before him by Zoroaster and Pythagoras, and in the mysteries.

Except few treatises of his disciples, we have only the declarations of his adversaries from which to ascertain what he actually taught.

Treat with caution those who claim to know, because if they did then never would this be allowed in writing or in the public domain.
