Why flouridate?

Since the 1940's, fluoride has been used in toothpaste and is added to drinking water in many countries around the world.

The dental profession claims that fluoride is safe and necessary for good dental health.

Fluoride is actually toxic waste from the aluminium, phosphoric acid and phosphate fertilizer industries.

Millions of tons of fluoride are produced each year.

Independent studies have shown it is responsible for disorders of the teeth, bones, the brain, thyroid gland, lowered IQ and more.

Up until the 1930's, fluoride was discharged directly into the air and waterways, causing great damage.

Lawsuits were mounting as more and more victims learned that their problems were caused by fluoride poisoning.

The industry's response was to change the public's perception of fluoride.

Many 'scientific' studies were presented to convince the public that fluoride was safe.

Lucrative positions were created for 'research' and 'education' with the express purpose of promoting the use of fluoride in toothpaste and in drinking water.

Today, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), over 60 percent of Americans are receiving fluoride in their drinking water whether they want it or not.

It is a controversy well worth exploring for yourself.

If you determine that you need to, there are methods of reducing the flouride levels, such as reverse osmosis water filters.

There is of course another side to this issue where those who sell products with fluoride in them say that it is perfectly safe

My own view?

If there is any doubt then do not use

Oh!

There is a challenge in taking such a stance as many authorities in many countries arbitrarily put fluoride in your water

Is this so in your area?

All the major toothpaste producers also put fluoride in their products so check this too

From what we know fluoride is fine for young children

After the age of fourteen it is less so

For adults the advantages are not clear, indeed the disadvantages of a life spent consuming fluoride are becoming clearer

"The plain fact that fluorine is an insidious poison, harmful, toxic and cumulative in its effects, even when ingested in minimal amounts, will remain unchanged no matter how
many times it will be repeated in print that fluoridation of the water supply is 'safe'."

Ludwig Gross, M.D., former Chief of Veterans Administration Cancer Research, Bronx, NY.
