First day of the New Year - 2012

The end of time some are hysterically saying

The Maya said this, yes they might have done.
..
Yes, sort of.
.
They actually said as the end of the world as we know it , which is probably more accurate.

There have always throughout history been watershed years.
.
Will this be one of them?
.
Why not?
.
And so what is in it for you?
.
What are your thoughts about the New Year?

Have you had any?
.
Bet there was a bit of stress in them.
.
Not being able to have any clue about what is coming puts us right back where our distant ancesstors used to be.
.
No nomadic people had any idea about even the day in front of them.
.
They lived with this.
.
And for sure the smart ones used to read the signs and take appropriate action.
.
The signs around us are not encouraging.
.
So what is the smart thing to do?
.
Understand that you cannot understand is a good starting point.
.
No one, not one pundit can see the unexpected things coming our way.
.
If that resonates with you and feels like it is true.
.
Then take on board one simple idea.
.
Feeling good about life and yourself surely beats approaching it with fear and trepidation.
.
Do what you can to prepare for the unexpected.
.
Take any precautions you can.
.
Then let go and enjoy each day, each moment.

Live life for the day you are in.

2012 will be what it will be.
