Reason and logic

Logic and reason cannot evaluate truth.

.
They cannot apprehend beauty.
.
They know nothing of love.
.
Living in a world which values reason and the logic more than anything else brings us to crisis after crisis 
.
This is true for individuals.
.
As it is for societies.
.
Crisis after crisis.
.
The head and reason can only understand control and more control.
.
Just about now in many areas we are seeing that control does not work.
.
Control is an illusion and so the crises must only get stronger and more prevalent.
.
Finally we learn that there is more than logic to making decisions.
.
More than reason in our dealings with each other.
.
The heart must be allowed in.
.
On a personal and societal level.
.
We must lift our heads to understand what we are part of.
.
To see the whole.
.
To wonder again at our universe.
.
Then reason and logic can play their role in supporting our heart and it's ability to see and understand things that logic cannot.
.
But to embrace this means to let go of control.

.
And those that control are loathe to do this as this is the basis of their power.
.
And for many power is all.
.
And here lies the root of so many problems today.
.
Those in power are not going to let go even if this means destroying their countries.
.
Look at those leaders around the world at this very time, Assad and the rest.
.
No thought of anything other than themselves.
.
For these men reason and logic do not work either, when this conflicts with their own desires.
. 
And if this is so then their people must oust them.
.
Must find a way.
