Equanimity

Equanimity essentially means calmness of mind.
.
And is a very important mental factor.
.
It is in fact better described as evenness of emotion.
.
One who has equanimity is seen as open minded peaceful and without bias.
.
Equanimity is often referred to as the absence of attachment to desire or craving.
.
Imagine a leader who exudes this quality.
.
Although this may not conjure up a dynamic driver of a business or project.
.
It portrays a person you can trust.
.
Arguably the most essential quality of leadership.
.
Not too many of them around at the moment.
.
They will soon be needed though.
.
Observe around you
.
Do you know any people with true equanimity?
.
Any in public life?
.
Your personal life perhaps?
.
Shame we do need some.
