We find that when we try to hold and own something
.It dries up.
.
The pleasure that is.
.
Holding and making something yours is a sure way to reduce and remove the pleasure from it.
.
Owning things as well that is.
.
This might take some time.
.
Happen it must though because the urge to own is destined to failure because as soon as you own there is a desire for more.
.
For the next want, must have festering away silently moving you towards more want and must have.
.
You can never be satisfied in a material world of stuff.
.
Because anything contained within a boundary must contain as well its own exhaustion.
.
For us to receive true ongoing pleasure and satisfaction we must also be willing to give.
.
And not only willing to give in a calculated way.
.
Giving because something in our being wants to give, just because it feels right.
For us to receive true ongoing pleasure and satisfaction we must also be willing to give.
.
And not only willing to give in a calculated way.
.
Giving because something in our being wants to give, just because it feels right.
.
No calculation
.
Just the urge to be generous, without thought for self or cost.
.
Then we can receive.
.
Receive what?
.
What the universe or nature feels to give you.
.
And this can take any form.
.
Nature looks after those who support her creative drive.
.
Once entered upon this cycle of giving and receiving it can grow to encompass the whole of one's life.
.
Not many do.
.
Why not?
.
They have fear that they will have nothing.
.
That they will lose everything.
.
It is only when you risk
.
When you genuinely let go.
.
When you truly give without thought for self that nature rewards.
.
She does not reward calculation.
.
Generosity and compassion she rewards.
.
And yes she looks after those who serve her.
.
Is there anything else more rewarding?
No calculation
.
Just the urge to be generous, without thought for self or cost.
.
Then we can receive.
.

.
Not that we know of.
Not that we know of.
