We really do create ourselves

The new being is rewarded and punished
.
For the meritorious acts and misdeeds of the old one
.
Karma representing an entry book
.
In which all the acts of man
.
Good 
.
Bad 
.
Or indifferent
.
Are carefully recorded to his debit or credit
.
By himself
.
So to say
.
Or rather by these very actions of his
.
Christian teaching sees a poetical guardian angel
.
There is none such
.
It is ourselves
.
The old being is the sole parent
.
Father and mother at once
.
Of the new being
,
It is the former who is the creator and fashioner of the latter
,
In reality
,
And far more so in plain truth than any father in the flesh 
.
Western science admits that our bodies and cells change constantly
.
Or as they prefer to say every cell in our bodies changes every seven years.
.
One step further no man animal or plant is ever the same for two consecutive days or even minutes.
.
Then in our present world, we without thinking, accept that a man or woman of forty enjoys or suffers the consequences of their actions at twenty.
.
So then it is equally just that the being of the new birth 
.
Who is essentially identical with the previous being
.
Since he is it's outcome and creation 
.
Should feel the consequences of that created self or personality
.
Think a moment about our Western laws which punish the innocent son or duaghter by depriving him of his parent, rights and property
.
Which brands with infamy the guiltless daughter of an immoral mother.
.
A Christian Church which teaches that the Lord God visits the sins of the fathers upon the children until the third or fourth generation
.
And are not all these far more unjust than anything done by karma?
.
Instead of punishing the innocent with the culprit
.
Karma  avenges and rewards you the responsible party alone.
.
We seldom think about these things in the hssule and bussle of our busy lives.
.
Maybe we should given  the impact they have on us.
