What a word

It covers so much that we take for granted

We cannot define the word

We can say simple things that it means

We can say complex things that it means

.

We can say what it does not mean

We cannot agree all the things that it might or might not mean

An example

Is an atom conscious?

Is every part of your body conscious in its own right?

Just semantics you might say

No not really because it shapes our understanding of the world we live in

.

A higher consciousness can see everything beneath it

.

A lower consciousness cannot see things above itself

.

Not possible

.

Be careful we are not talking about knowledge or facts we are talking about consciousness

.

So a more conscious being can see and know things a lower consciousness cannot

.

The slowest thing to evolve in humans is consciousness

.

Absolutely so

Meaning?

That unless and until we can help consciousness grow amongst ordinary men and women

..

Unscrupulous people will continue to dumb down arguments and communications in order to maintain control, gain power, make money

.

It is no accident that so much in the modern world has been reduced to sound bites and photo opportunities

That people are called celebrities by being cruder or more vulgar

.

That ostentatious behaviour is somehow admirable

.

The illusion is fostered that everything can be bought

.

The lie that we have never had it so good when over half the world is without

.

That the good life is somehow measured by .

.

Anything that appeals to lower conscious people who constitute the majority of humanity

.

Who all have the same vote

.

Unfortunately growing consciousness is the only way forward for humanity

.

Unless we become more conscious we cannot survive let alone grow to our potential

.

Interesting point of evolution where greed wants to dumb everything down

.

While the only way forward is to grow consciousness

.

Through greater consciousness comes greater understanding

.

Greater understanding is our only way .

Being responsible for your self choose to grow your consciousness

.

Maybe one day you can contribute to growing the consciousness of others
