What we believe

Is different in different cultures

This was true for a long period of our history but is now becoming blurred

Blurred because of tv and the internet and other modern communications

Blurred because less and less oral traditions are surviving

So as we lose our myths and history does it matter?

Yes because living in a world with one history opens it to manipulation and abuse

This is already evident in the spin put on every modern event

Nothing is sacred everything is open to distortion

So what we believe is important as it forms the basis of any society
