Cannot be changed

Rooted in cement

Ideas on the other hand are open to challenge and discussion

Ideas are amendable

Ideas move on as we do

Ideas change as we change

So this is why we say look at your beliefs

Beliefs by their very nature are often serious things

Or so we tend believe

And being serious form part of our bedrock of being
