More about noise

A study by Cornell University in New York found that people who work in open plan offices

People constantly surrounded by the noise from ringing phones, office chatter and the buzz of machinery

These people have higher levels of adrenalin in their urine compared to those who work in quieter ones

Meanwhile the World Health Organisation (WHO) state that unwanted noise can cause cardiovascular health problems, tinnitus and long term hearing impairment

The WHO says there is an association between long term noise exposure above 67 to 70db and high blood pressure

To put this into perspective a refrigerator creates a noise buzz of about 40db

Noise creates stress that put the body into a state of high alert

So the body pumps out stress hormones
.
Hormone levels that affect people in debilitating ways over time
.
Many people operate at high levels of stress with noise often being a contributing factor

Just one little thought why do so many modern humans need constant noise, music, talk around them?

Could it be that without stress hormones at a certain level they feel uncomfortable?
.
That they cannot function without a certain stress level of hormone creation?

Over time though this leads to other health problems, often with no apparent cause
.
No obvious relationship to noise
.
No obvious relation to hormone creation
.
As with many illnesses today the true causes are not evident
.
Many things we do while we are young cause us so many problems later in our lives
.
By then it is too late
.
Just a thought if you need continual noise then try going without for a while and seeing how this feels
.
Learn about yourself, your real self that is
.
Have you become addicted to noise?
