Daily initiation - 1

For most the idea of daily initiation will be a new one, however this is how it really is if one wants to grow and move towards enlightenment or mastery of nature.

It is supposed by some that it is always and in every case a set and solemn occasion for which the candidate is prepared and notified in advance.

While there are some initiations surrounded by such solemnities as these, the daily one without success in which no aspirant will ever have the chance to try for those that are higher comes to the disciple with almost each moment.

It is met in our relations with our fellows, and in the effects upon us of all the circumstances of life.

And if we fail in these, we never get to the point where greater ones are offered.

If we cannot bear momentary defeat, or of a chance word that strikes our self-love finds us unprepared, or if we give way to the desire to harshly judge others, or if we remain in ignorance of some of our most
apparent faults, we do not build up that knowledge and strength imperatively demanded from whoever is to be master of nature.

Imagination

Is often decried by scientists as a useless, although perhaps a pleasant power.

Wrong!

Personal power is only possible if you can direct power to a point or spot.

If your imagination cannot make a picture of the spot and of the force, you can never - except by accident - cause the forces to flow there.

So the first step is to cultivate the interior image making power.

Unless this is done, the will in these places can hardly be directed to its end, for with no image the forces have no place to focus upon.

As all of us have our own methods interiorly, peculiar to us and to no other, one should not look for hard and fast rules for all.

Go to work on yourself and find out your own processes of thought and feeling.

If truly pursued anything can be discovered.

Imagination is a crucial tool in human consciousness evolution.

Squalls

Yes they keep coming in the big world of deceit and lies.

Lies and yet more lies.

We are living in what is known as Kali Yuga, a black period.

A time when evil does not bother to hide.

When the only value is money.

The only worship that of money.

For most a shrug and put up with the squalls that result from evil people fighting over the spoils.

Note well though that you are responsible for yourself.

For what you do or do not do.

Do not waste your life being a spectator to evil.

Make your life one of effort.

Hold to decent values.

Act upon these values.

No excuses, life is not easy today.

But that is not what you are here for.

See beyond the squalls.

Hazard lights

Men seldom notice the hazard lights flashing from their female partners.

Little things done by men that irritate women.

Little things not done by men that irritate women.

So often men have no consciousness that their actions or lack thereof are building tension.

Sailing obliviously into squally waters.

Until suddenly the storm breaks often over apparently nothing at all.

To the man that is.

To the woman the final straw in the portfolio of errant behaviour.

So many differences between us it's a miracle we can be with each other at all.

Or is it?

How boring to imagine perfect harmony.

Homosexuals do not manage to live in perfect harmony either and they are the same sex.

So could it be that we are here to help each other grow?

To give each other that other half that we do not have?

Instead of hitting each other over the head.

Lets listen a bit more and learn from our partners.

Karma and us

People do not realise that the attraction they feel for each other is often karmic.

Meaning?

That they need to be with that particular person in order to learn their lessons or finish their karmic relations with that person.

Notice how some people stay with each other when everything says get out move away.

Just so and they cannot until the lessons are learnt and or the karma is paid.

So if you are in such a relationship then time to try and figure out what are you there to learn?

Oh and if you do manage to jump ship and move on to another relationship without learning your lessons then it will be the same experience all over with the new partner.

Nature is not easily thwarted.

Life is not quite as simplistic as advertisers would have you believe!

Clean

Little children are clean, in mind that is

So is nature.

The energy of both helps us to feel good.

They can help us feel clean.

Nice if we could always feel clean

Observe how feeling clean can change your mood.

Stay clean!

Why black?

So many people wear black clothing

It doesn't show the dirt some say.

It is flexible others say.

For some it is a religious diktat.

For others it is mourning.

Indeed why is black the colour of mourning?

Because it is a sombre expression?

Maybe that's why so many in politics and business chose it, to give the illusion of gravitas.

For many it is a reflection of their feelings.

Black is not a good colour to wear all the time.

Anyway you look at it there is a negative component.

Black is not conducive to good health.

Over time the wearing of black affects the wearer.

Often people who are angry and frustrated wear black.

So before wearing black more than once in a while look at your emotions.

Does back really express what you feel?

Black can be really black!

Post holidays

Did you bring anything back with you?

New ideas.

Contentment

Fresh energy.

Intentions.

Or did you feel -

Sad.

Empty.

Stressed.

Frightened.

If you fall in the first group then fine.

If you fall in the later group though.

Time to sort things out.

This will not happen by itself.

It needs your uunderstanding that there is a problem

Your life.

Be clear about what it is

Check that your understanding is accurate.

That you are living in reality.

Act to resolve this and ask for help if necessary.

It won't go away until you address this issue.

Post holiday blues with the fantasy gone is time to sort things.

Document care

We all carry them.

Some carefully placing them in the same place every time and others more carelessly putting them anywhere.

All goes fine until we lose or misplace one or worse have one stolen.
