End of what?
The year 2009 is now drawing to a close
All the years ending in 9 tend to be full of change
Often rough years
Difficult years
1989 - 1979 - 1999 - 1889 - and so on
Rather than dwell on the difficulties take the end of the year as a time for review
Review what you accomplished in 2009
Take the good from it
Take satisfaction for what you did
Notice also what you did not do
Why you did not do it
Then let the negatives aside
Decide to let them drop or to redouble your efforts in 2010
2010 can still be challenging and we suspect that times are going to continue challenging for some years to come
For the rest of our lives maybe
If so then prepare
Learn to take pleasure from small things
Learn to enjoy every part of each day
Build some anticipation into your life
Have something coming towards you, somethng you are looking forward to
A mini break
A weekend doing something new interesting
2010 will also go quickly time is different now
The past is gone
The past no longer lingers
2009 is done
Hallo 2010
Enjoy tonight it is the first Blue Moon new year for some time
Blue Moons do not come along very often so enjoy it
Don't know what a Blue Moon is then check it out on Wikipedia or ask someone
Surprising how few people really know what a Blue Moon is

What power?
Power is a measure of an entity's ability to control the environment around itself, including the behavior of other entities
The term authority is often used for power, perceived as legitimate by the social structure
Power can be seen as evil or unjust, but the exercise of power is accepted as endemic to humans as social beings
Often, the study of power in a society is referred to as politics
The use of power need not involve coercion
Need not involve force or the threat of force
.
At one extreme, it more closely resembles what everyday English-speakers call "influence"
.
At the other violent coercion
.
The means by which power is used tells us much
.
Power is often misused
.
Power does indeed corrupt
.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely
.
And yet there are humans with power who do not use it for selfish reasons
.
Small in number, they may well be the most powerful humans on this planet
.
To recap what we have written elsewhere
.
There are basically three power groups
.
Those who use power to help others and who support the creative forces of nature
.
Those who master the technical power of nature and use it for both good and bad purposes
.
Those who use the destructive powers of nature for selfish purposes
.
In short the White brotherhood
.
Shaman
.
And the Black brotherhood
.
Numerically the black brotherhood is the largest of the three ranging from unconscious selfishness to extremely malevolent conscious entities
.
Shaman are next although in today's world true shaman are rarer
.
The white brotherhood is the smallest numerically because the entry conditions are so demanding, as are the continuing struggles
.
Our lives and planet are a battle ground for the two brotherhoods
Strong individuals choose either selfless lives
Or they choose selfish lives
Most humans however are neither one nor the other being what are called 'lukewarm'
Preferring to go through life with minimum disturbance
.
Choosing to remain uninvolved wherever possible
Our times are becoming more volatile though
This is nature's way of shaking the lukewarm
In the final days the lukewarm are dissolved, their atoms dispersed
And you what group do you belong to?

Just for fun
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow
Do not walk beside me either
Just pretty much leave me alone
.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and leaky tire
.
It's always darkest before dawn
So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.
.
Don't be irreplaceable.
If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.
.
Always remember that you're unique.
Just like everyone else
.
Never test the depth of the water with both feet
.
If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of mortgage payments
.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes
.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is probably not for you
.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day
.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably a wise investment
.
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything
.
Everyone seems normal until you get to know them
.
The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket
.
A closed mouth gathers no foot
.
Duct tape is like 'The Force'. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together
.
There are two theories to arguing with women.
Neither one works
.
Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your lips are moving
.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it
.
Never miss a good chance to shut up
.
AND
.
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Nostalgia
Nostalgia has often been called a “second-order emotion”
.
This is because by definition, it puts down the present in comparison with the past.
.
Nostalgia comes from the Greek words nostos = return and algos = grief
.
Nostalgia in a way makes one feel resentful of change
.
Because by definition nostalgia is a look back in sadness.
.
It is also more often just plain inaccurate
.
This is because those good old days were nothing like the memories we hold of them
.
Our present frustration often causing us to want to dwell on times of greater comfort and pleasure
.
Times where we imagine the days were without stress
.
Days without fear or sadness
.
Days without problems
.
Hence the good old days, which selectively hold the good and bury the bad
.
For our health and well being living in the moment, this moment now is much more powerful and healthy
.
Dealing with our lives day by day
.
Looking forward gives us more strength than dreaming of a bygone mythical time in the past
.
Some times were certainly good
.
Many many more were challenging
.
Days of forgotten pain
.
Days of boredom
.
Stay in this time now the past is past
.
Let it stay there
.
Only look back in order to adjust a memory
.
Adjust it only in the light of new knowledge
.
Knowledge gained through your growing that allows you better balance and perspective
.
Nostalgia is not helpful
.
Nostalgia does nothing for you today

Morals morality
What is the basis of morals?
This is the most important question that can be asked of any system of thought
Is morality based on the dicta of man?
Is morality based on the conviction in most men's hearts that for human safety it is necessary to have certain abstract rules which it is merly convenient to follow?
Are we mere opportunists?
Or is morality ethics based on truth, which is merely not expedient for man to follow, but necessary?
Surely upon the latter?
Morals is right conduct based on right views, right thinking
On what then is morality based?
And by morality is not meant merely the opinion which some pseudo-philosophers have that morality is more or less that which is good for the community based on the mere meaning
of the Latin word mores "good customs" as opposed to bad
No!
Morality is that instinctive hunger of the human heart to do righteousness
To do good to every man because it is good and satisfying and ennobling to do so
When man realises that he is one with all that is
Inwards and outwards, high and low
That he is one with all not merely as members of a community are one not merely as members of an army are one
But like the molecules of our own flesh like the atoms of the molecule
Like the electrons of the atom, composing one unity not a mere union but a spiritual unity
Then he sees truth

Ethics
It is impossible to understand the sublime wisdom of the gods
The archaic wisdom-religion of the ancients
Without the keenest realisation of the fact that ethics run like golden threads throughout the entire system or fabric of doctrine and thought of the esoteric philosophy
Genuine occultism, divorced from ethics is simply unthinkable because impossible
Ethics are not merely the products of human thought existing as a formulation of conventional rules proper for human conduct
They are founded on the very structure and character of the universe itself
The heart of the universe is wisdom-love
And these are intrinsically ethical
For there can be no wisdom without ethics
Nor can love be without ethics
Nor can there be ethics deprived of either love or wisdom
Ethics are the offspring of the moral instinct in human beings
Who derived them in their turn from the heart of the universe
From the cosmic harmony
It is high time that the occidental world should cast forever into the limbo of exploded superstitions the idea that ethics is merely conventional morality
A convenience invented by man to smooth the asperities and dangers of human intercourse
Of course every scholar knows that the words morals and ethics come from the Latin and Greek respectively
As signifying the customs or habits which it is proper to follow in civilised communities
But this fact in itself, which is unquestionable, is in a sense disgraceful
For it would almost seem that we had not brought forth a word adequately describing the instinct for right and truth and troth and justice and honour and wisdom and love which we today so feebly express by the words ethics and morals
No one can be a truly conscious human who does not feel ethically and think ethically and live ethically

Another year
Another year has gone by
.
And for you what did it bring?
.
For us more pain, more pleasure
.
More experiences and more growing
.
Looking back we can see how hard and difficult much of the growing was
.
Unpleasant experiences requiring patience and then more patience
.
One of the most important aspects was, and still is, learning to live in powerlessness
.
Powerlessness where you have no choice
.
Where whatever it is would not be what you would choose
.
Where you just have to deal with it
One day at a time dealing with whatever it is
.
Sometimes these situations go on for years
.
No respite
.
No getting way from them
.
This is hard to be with
.
Over time it can really get you down
.
Pressure over time is always difficult to deal with
.
Be conscious where you have to live with pressure
.
Take time out
.
Be it only minutes, hours or days
.
Take time out to look at and see other things
.
If you don't then over time something must give
.
And that will usually be you
.
A relationship
.
Something going wrong
.
So take time out in whatever way you can
.
Recharging ourselves is essential if we want to enjoy ongoing good health
.
This is a good time and season to do it
.
May we all take the best we experienced from this difficult year 2009
.
Decide to make 2010 a special year
.
The years are going by so fast now decide not to waste any chance to grow
.
Whatever the difficulties you must face
.
Growth is the way out, growth with a smile
.
Consciousness evolution is all
.
We send you our best wishes and hope that you all enjoy the holiday season

Control
And then more control
Every time you try to do something you are told how to do it
How not to do it
Don't do it now
Do it later
Do it like this
Do it like that
Then the interminable questions
Why are you doing this?
Why are you doing that?
Why are you doing it like that?
Why are you doing it now?
When are you going to do this?
When are you going to do that?
Why are you going there?
For many people this is what they live with
Day in day out
Almost never free of pressure
Never free of control
Never free of critical comments
Never left alone to do things in their own way
In their own time
And yet so many accept this as a way of life
So many accept that this is the way it is
So many have given in to bullying constant criticism and controlling
We can all see this behaviour in others
We have all observed it in others
Yet in our own lives have we accepted control as well?
If we have then consider this
We have given over control of many aspects of our lives to another
And however close that other person we need to reserve unto ourselves the right to take our own actions
More than the right the responsibility to take our own actions
Understand that support is fine
Advice when asked for is also fine
Controlling manipulation is not fine
Nor is bullying
Controlling manipulation is also bullying
And this is not fine as over time we lose an essential feature of human experience
The responsibility for our own decisions and actions
Make sure you are aware of your own behaviour
Are you being controlled?
Are you controlling?
If you are being controlled then ease out of it
Take back your power
For this is what it is
A surrender of our own power
The power to make our own decisions
Take it back giving it to others is not what we are here for
And if it is you doing the controlling
Then time to back off and help the other grow
Enhance their lives encourage them to take decisions
Use your energy for your own life

Past lives
It is natures kindness that we cannot remember past lives
.
Life would be a real pain if we carried such a tremendous load of memories
.
A wise man deliberately forgets many things in this life let alone many many lives
.
Look at it this way you get a monthly bank statement listing many individual transactions
.
It is the total that is important, the bottom line
We are the sum totals of all our past lives
A honey bee offers another way of looking at it
The bee visits many different flowers and plants, imagine that each visit represents a past life
Now what is important?
That the flower was a rose or tulip, a snapdragon perhaps or that it grew in this field or that field?
Only one thing is really important, how much nectar was gathered to be stored as honey for future use
.
So let us turn to the 'lost knowledge' argument people raise
.
Knowledge on its own is of no use to us
.
Acquiring knowledge and experience if used properly may though strengthen the mind
.
And we can see this in our own lives it is not the knowledge per se but how we learn to use it that is most important
.
Now imagine a man dies and enters his next life without that knowledge but strengthened by the way he learned to use it
.
In this new life that skill and wisdom are what he brings with him
.
So the loss of the knowledge is in fact his gain for the mere accumulation of knowledge if his memory never ceased would soon overwhelm him and be worse than useless
.
So the best evidence shows that in each life we can only learn a few important lessons
.
And it is these lessons that are added to our higher self
.
So that in your next life you are wiser and better able to move on in your consciousness evolution
.
But if you advance to a certain level then yes you will be able to know specific things about past lives, although those who have reached this level say that they do not often find this to be of help to them
.
Certain young children before the age of five or thereabouts have often good memories of past lives and this then disapears as the stimulae of this life and its demands fades the memories
.
Many people around the globe find that they are comfortable and able to do things that they have never done or seen before, usually because they had done this in past lives and retained an affinity or ability for it
.
Living in this life now is quite enough of a challenge for most without adding the burden of previous life knowledge
Just understand that you are the sum total of all those lives
Good and bad, male and female
Your work here is to add to that total through your personal efforts
Only you can do this
Nothing can be bought all must be earnt
We are the sum total of all our past lives

When a stroke occurs
We hope this will never happen to you
.
Even if it never does learn this method and remember it as it might save someones life
.
When a stroke occurs
.
Caution!
.
Often we do not realise that someone is having a stroke
.
Unfortunately, this lack of awareness can spell disaster.
.
The stroke victim may suffer brain damage when people nearby fail to
recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking
three simple questions:
.
1. Ask the individual to Smile.
.
2. Ask him or her to Raise both arms.
.
3. Ask the person to Speak a simple sentence
.
Coherently ie . It is sunny outside today
.
If he or she has trouble with any of these tasks
.
Stay calm.
.
Follow the steps below!!
.
From a Chinese Professor .
.
Keep a syringe or needle in your home or find or borrow one if you are outside
.
This is a powerful and unconventional way of recovering from a stroke
.
Unconventional that is those who are not Chinese or versed in their medicine
.
Read it through it can help somebody one day.
.
You'll never know, someones life may depend on you.
.
When a stroke strikes, the capillaries in the brain will gradually burst.
.
No matter where the victim is, do not move him
.
Because, if moved, the capillaries will burst.
.
Help the victim to sit up where he is to prevent him from falling
over again and then the blood letting can begin..
.
If you have in your home an injection syringe that would be the best.
.
Otherwise, a sewing needle or a straight pin will do.
.
1. Place the needle/pin over fire to sterilize it and then use it to
prick the tip of all ......10 fingers.
.
2. There are no specific acupuncture points, just prick about an mm from
the fingernail.
.
3. Prick till blood comes out.
.
4. If blood does not start to drip, then squeeze with your fingers..
.
5. When all 10 digits are bleeding
.
Wait a few minutes then the victim will regain consciousness.
.
6. If the victim's mouth is crooked , then pull on his ears until they
are red.
.
7. Then prick each earlobe twice until two drops of blood comes from
each earlobe.
.
After a few minutes the victim should regain consciousness.
.
Wait till the victim regains his normal state without any abnormal symptoms
then take him to the hospital.
.
Otherwise, if he was taken in the ambulance to the hospital, in the conventional western treatment the bumpy trip will often cause all the capillaries in his brain to burst.
.
Blood letting is an old traditional Chinese approach
.
If you can remember this blood letting method and start the life saving
process immediately, in a short time, the victim will be revived and regain
100% normality.
.
PLEASE FORWARD THIS AFTER READING.
.
YOU NEVER KNOW IT MAY HELP
.

Politics explained
An old one but fun and not so far off whatever the new labels
Feudalism - You have two cows.
Your lord takes some of the milk.
Pure socialism - You have two cows.
The government takes them and puts them in a barn with everyone else's cows.
You have to take care of all of the cows.
The government gives you as much milk as you need.
Bureaucratic socialism - You have two cows.
The government takes them and put them in a barn with everyone else's cows.
They are cared for by ex-chicken farmers.
You have to take care of the chickens the government took from the chicken farmers.
The government gives you as much milk and eggs as the regulations say you need.
Fascism - You have two cows.
The government takes both, hires you to take care of them and sells you the milk.
Pure communism - You have two cows.
Your neighbors help you take care of them, and you all share the milk.
Former Russian Communism - You have two cows.
You have to take care of them, but the government takes all the milk.
Former Cambodian Communism - You have two cows.
The government takes both of them and shoots you.
Dictatorship - You have two cows.
The government takes both and drafts you.
Pure Democracy - You have two cows.
Your neighbors decide who gets the milk.
Representative Democracy - You have two cows.
Your neighbors pick someone to tell you who gets the milk.
Bureaucracy - You have two cows.
At first the government regulates what you can feed them and when you can milk them.
Then it pays you not to milk them.
Then it takes both, shoots one, milks the other and pours the milk down the drain.
Then it requires you to fill out forms accounting for the missing cows.

Dr Rajendra Pachauri, the head of the IPCC is yet another who does not quite tell us all
He is particularly reticent about his other interests

Perception again
.
Most people think of perception as just being about information received by the eye.
If that were the case, then perceived size should not have changed because the optical information specifying the size of the goals posts is constant.
This research shows that perception is about more than just the optical system
The researchers want next to investigate whether watching others perform can affect perception.
For example would watching others fail to score cause the watcher to see the goalposts as narrower and limit their own abilities?
Also what are the differences between the role perception plays for professional athletes who practice the sport more than the average person?
Would visualising the target to be bigger, benefit athletes in their sport?
Again just as we think we know something we realise that there is a lot we do not knowSo far all we can really say with confidence is that performance influences perception.

Enter the Russians
It now appears that the data used to support global warming did not include 40% of the available Russian data, most of it from Siberia
This means that the whole global warming scare was and is based on manipulated information
/http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/jamesdelingpole/100020126/climategate-goes-serial-now-the-russians-confirm-that-uk-climate-scientists
Take it away from them
Thereby creating a need
Then supply the need
By selling it back to them
What am I talking about?
How the world was monetized
In simple words that is how it came about
Pollute the rivers then sell them drinking water
Break their barter lives by introducing monoculture products
Then stop buying their products
Then sell them food
Over and over those with power have played this game
Creating a need then supplying that need
Today we live in a monetized world where there is little left to monetize
Everything is monetized from water to parking
But wait a minute!
After the recent financial crisis bankers have been wondering what can we do next?
Lo and behold there is by amazing coincidence a brand new mega business emerging
Just in time for those banks that brought us financial disaster a short while ago
Banks that were saved with our money
Now they have created another great wheeze
We have carbon offsets or CAP
Tell a business that it is creating CO2 emissions
Then sell them carbon offsets
Tell a country that it is creating CO2 emissions
Then make them buy carbon offsets
Tell an organisation that it is creating CO2 emissions
Then sell them credits and carbon offsets
Banks yes those same banks that caused the financial meltdown sit in the middle and make commissions on every transaction
With Copenhagen commiting us all to tight limits on CO2 emissions this is going to be an enormous mega business
How convenient
Ever looked at who are behind the push for climate change controls?
What it will do to us and our lives is predictable
More taxes
Taxes on everything to pay for these commitments
Made in our name
Hopefully sanity will prevail and the public will object to what is going on
The biggest transfer of money in history from developed to developing countries
If one could believe that these developing countries could actually use this money in the way intended that is one thing
But I for one have no belief that this will happen
So yet again those in power are committing us all to a great big game where we pay for them to help the banks and the elite in developing countries make huge profits
Create a need then supply the product
The irony is that CO2 emissions are a relatively minor problem blown into a mega issue
The global population is a greater issue and yet so little is said
Global food production is now reduced
Reduced because incentivized, subsidized farmers are growing corn for ethanol for cars
Not food
Growing population + static or reducing food production = mega issue
And yet our media say little
I wonder why?
As the saying goes "follow the money"
Then you find the answers
Wednesday, December 16, 2009
Truth is not decided by a show of hands
The truth of an idea is not determined by the number of people who agree or disagree on something
Today climate change is something that is said to be caused in part by Carbon Dioxide emissions
True or false?
To listen to many pundits you would conclude that this is so
Other voices are drowned out or jeered at
Wait a minute hasn't this happened many many times before?
Of course it has
The majority of mankind are what are called 'lukewarm' in some of the old teachings
Neither hot nor cold they do not take positions or make decisions
In other words they do not want to think or act for themselves
And affect you they do when our politicians decide to spend our money on plan a or b
Your role is to make your voice heard by supporting those who are active in promoting what you believe to be important or correct
Coming down the road in the UK is yet another attempt by the British Government to promote and foist GM farming on the country
Do you want GM seeds to contaminate your country?
Do you believe they deliver what they say they do in terms of productivity and benefits?
Do you believe they do no harm?
Do you believe anyone yet really knows?
And the long term effect of eating modified foods are what?
Already too late say those of a doom and pessimistic persuasion
Is it?
You eat everyday and much of the soy in everything from bread to cakes and sweets is already GM based
Do you care?
Do you want your children eating GM soy and other GM foods?
Inform yourself please wherever you live it is something that affects us all

Vitamins again
Scientists from Monash University have examined the development of insulin resistance, the first stage in the development of diabetes, and found that vitamins mop up molecules known as Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), which actually enhance insulin action, though they are harmful in other ways.

Mesh Network
It allows for continuous connections and reconfiguration around broken or blocked paths by “hopping” from node to node until the destination is reached.
A mesh network whose nodes are all connected to each other is a fully connected network
Mesh networks differ from other networks in that the component parts can all connect to each other via multiple hops, and they generally are not mobile.
Mesh networks can be seen as one type of ad hoc network. Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) and mesh networks are therefore closely related, but MANET also have to deal with the problems introduced by the mobility of the nodes.
Mesh networks are self-healing: the network can still operate when one node breaks down or a connection goes bad.
As a result, the network may typically be very reliable, as there is often more than one path between a source and a destination in the network.
Although mostly used in wireless scenarios, this concept is also applicable to wired networks and software interaction.
Wireless mesh networks can self form and self heal
And this is why we are writing about this subject
Ever wondered what happens when your friendly or unfriendly government shuts down your communications?
For most a time of panic
For others plan b the mesh network
So now you know

If we are here but once
Or as the modern Christians would say after this one life we are going to die forever and ever
Going to everlasting heaven or hell judged they believe after this one short life
If you accept this then the idea of peace and goodwill to all mankind sounds pretty stupid and far fetched
Given the greed and callousness rampant around the planet today
If there is any creator or intelligence, then are they really that dumb?
A casual look around you tells your heart that there is more than accident involved in our planet and solar system
Then believe that the intelligences involved had a game plan
And that game plan did not include going to the trouble of creating planet earth and everything in it for humanity to come here for one random life
Nor did it include the silly idea of one life and then heaven or hell for ever and ever amen
Intelligence does not create stupid ideas of this nature
No we are all transients here today gone tomorrow
We then come back to learn more
It is us who have been making this journey together
Life after life
Incarnating together for ages after ages
Living life by the rules of karma and reincarnation
And will go on doing so for many cycles to come
Only once we get this does life make sense
Only when we get this can we see how insane our behaviour to each other is
Were you an Arab in your last life?
The one to come maybe?
And an Israeli in the one after next?
This is why those garbled sayings in the various world religions talk about us all being one
We are in many many ways relatives, brothers and sisters
And look at us behaving like fools
Dividing everything into us and them
My football team
Your country
Your religion
My culture
And so it goes on
If you have travelled then you will have noticed I hope that people everywhere worry about the same things
They want a future for their children
A safe life
Enough to get by with
Notice how we all have more in common than we have differences
Yet to listen to many of our leaders
Those people next door eat their babies and are evil
Go next door and guess what they are being told?
Time to go beyond divisions of this nature and see that we are indeed all one
Through these divisions we are used and abused
Generations going off to kill each other
Next time you hear about your Ministry of Defense
Be honest with yourself it is an organisation dedicated to killing and murder
See and call what it is ................a murder machine
Trying to find the best way of killing as many of "them" as possible
So called "Collateral damage" is murder, how many did we murder today then?
The murdered are people like us just wanting to get through life with self respect and dignity
Only when we call the insanity of war mass murder do we begin to see it for what it is
Murder is murder whether by the state or by you as an individual
And that could well be your relative you are murdering
Your brother in a previous life
No we are not here just this one time
We have all been here over and over
Time we started realizing this
Time we started behaving better towards each other
Start with your own relations towards others please

Mmmmm - Comment
.
This is a very old axiom.
.
Knowledge the first step to which is the power of comprehending the truth,
.
-is for those only who, having freed themselves from every prejudice and conquered their human conceit and selfishness are ready to accept every and any truth, once it is demonstrated to them.
.
Of such there are very few.
